As we move into 2016, let us remind you of some of the small groups that await your interest. We have discussion groups, weekly and monthly gatherings, some for fun and some for service.
Weekly groups include: Adult Choir, Thursday Men’s Breakfast, Handbell Choir, Healthy Living, Tuesday Bible Study, Quilters.
Monthly groups include: Book Buddies, Sarah & Abraham, Faithful Friends, Servants of Our Saviour’s, Fellowship and Cards Together (FACT), Knot Just Knitters.
The meeting times for these groups and descriptions of the offerings are often listed and promoted in Grace Notes and the monthly newsletter; however, you can always call the office (715-723-6048) to get some information. Better yet, talk to someone who is a part of the group and hear from them about why they attend and some of their experiences.
FACT: Rich Boardman says “I like cards. It is fun and the treats are good, too.”
Knot Just Knitters: Marilyn Murphy says: “I enjoy Knot Just Knitters because I know I am helping others by doing the craft I so enjoy.”
Book Buddies: Carol Gienapp says: “Book Buddies has become more than just a book club. It is a caring community of women who support and encourage each other. The books prompt thoughtful discussion that often challenges us and helps us grow in our faith.”
Tuesday Bible Study: Earl Carlson says: “I enjoy the fellowship and the discussions that occur. It is easy to study the Bible midst the camaraderie of the group and it adds to the real meaning of our discussions.”
Faithful Friends: Jan Engelsgjerd says: “It has been a privilege to get to know our homebound members on a deeper level. Visiting with them is a real pleasure.”
…and more. Find out about the groups and even try them out. Hope you join. Board of Deacons
