This Sunday, March 29, begins the holiest week of our Christian identity. Join us for worship at 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. for our traditional Celebration of Palms. We will reenact Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, worship, hear the Passion Story according to Matthew, and celebrate the Eucharist. Our annual Palm SundayBreakfast will be served by our youth at 9:00 a.m. between service. You will not want to miss it!
Holy Week continues on Maundy Thursday, April 2, with 6:30 p.m. worship. This service marking Jesus’ last supper begins The Great Three Days, the Triduum. The hours from Thursday evening through Sunday morning define our faith. The story starts right here.
Good Friday, April 3, is an ecumenical celebration. Come for one of two worship opportunities: 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Resurrection at Chippewa Manor or 7:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. Join our brothers and sisters in Christ as, together we remember God’s work in Christ on the cross.
Easter Sunday, April 5, is the climactic celebration of this holiest of weeks as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection. Join us at 8:00 or 10:15 for the celebration worship. Come at 9:00 a.m. for the Easter Fair. Come for the easter egg hunt, sitting down to hear the Easter story, and for the fellowship!
The week begins in just a few days. We look forward to seeing you!
