The healthy living group meets weekly, usually in the library to weigh-in and discuss diet, exercise, and health in a prayerful atmosphere. Everybody weighs in (no need to share the number of pounds), and people can announce if they have gained, lost or stayed the same. We clap for people who lose weight or stay at their goal weight!
The group started as a weight loss support group, but has turned into a healthy living group. We share our highs and lows, healthy living tips and recipes, and finish with prayer. The meetings always take under an hour, although people are free to stay and visit if they like.
